This was done for the boss of my girlie's husband. Their in the finance industry which means they deal with money all day. To us chinese, an overflowing rice bucket signifies wealth (lots of it) and prosperity. and what better way to celebrate your boss's birthday with a rice bucket in cake!
This was my second go at a rice bucket cake. the inaugural one was done last year when i was still just starting out and even made it to the papers! and i think i have really come a long way since a year ago!
Cake was red velvet with oreos.
